Library Study Rooms and Exams Hours

The best advice on how to study and write an exam often comes from the law professor who teaches your class. 

Brooklyn Law School Library offers study rooms and extended hours to assist its law students.

The Library Study Room Reservation Procedure is as follows:

  1. Study rooms can be reserved between Monday, December 6th through Wednesday, December 22nd.
  2. Reservations must be made at the Library Circulation Desk.
  3. Use the Study Room Reservation Sign-Up Book  to make your reservations.
  4. Students can make a reservation one day in advance.
  5. Begin to sign-up starting on Sunday, December 5th.

Brooklyn Law School Library will extend its hours for exams. Our exam hours from Monday, December 6 to Wednesday, December 22 are:

          Monday – Friday:                                 7:00am – 2:00am

Saturday & Sunday:                              9:00am-2:00am

Wednesday- December 22 only:      7:00am-10:00pm

These hours have been posted on the library bulletin boards.  There is also a link to the library hours for the academic year on the library web page.

Library Summer Hours (5/18 – 8/15)

May 18 – May 31, 2010
9am – 10pm
(Seven days a week, including Memorial Day, Monday, May 31st)

June 1 – July 28, 2010
9am – 12am
(Seven days a week, including Independence Day, Sunday, July 4th and Monday, July 5th)

July 29 – August 15, 2010
Monday-Friday, 9am-10pm
Saturday-Sunday, 9am-5pm

On 1/16 – Maintenance Leaves Library Users Cold and Unconnected

On Saturday January 16th, there may be intermittent loss of heat at Brooklyn Law School’s main building located at 250 Joralemon, Brooklyn. This is due to maintenance on the building’s gas meter. This condition may effect library users. Please dress accordingly.

Further due to electrical and computer server maintenance on this building, the school administrators has determined that 250 Joralemon will close at 6:00 pm on Saturday January 16th. The building will reopen on Sunday morning at 8:00 am.

BLS Library hours are effected only on Saturday, January 16th. BLS Library will close at 6:00 pm.

Please also note that BLS Library Users will not have access to the BLS network from 6:00 pm (1/16) to 8:00 am (1/17).

BLS Library apologizes for any inconvenience this necessary work may cause.

Saturday-Sunday, December 5-6: 9am-2am

Monday-Friday, December 7-11: 7am-2am

Saturday-Sunday, December 19-20: 9am-2am
